Ekande was founded with a vision to empower Tanzania's youth and women. We started our first community outreach programs and established partnerships with local organizations.
Launched our flagship program in One region Dar es Salaam with 5 districts being involved, directly impacting over 5000 youth and women. Got the Grant from Norwegian and Switzerland Embassy in Dar. Launched E-Jamii and expanded E-Shuleni to 15 new schools.
Expanding our programs to five new regions, launching digital literacy initiatives, and establishing the Women Entrepreneurship Fund to support female-led businesses.

Picture a teen in a rural village unlocking skills for the future without leaving home. That's E-Rafiki! Our online platform brings live-streamed courses, like our epic Class405, straight to youth in Swahili, smashing barriers of distance and access.
Growing Strong Communities
Change starts where the heart is at the grassroots. E-Jamii delivers free education and life changing skills to vulnerable groups, like kids and staff in orphanages.
Shaping Tomorrow's Superstars
With Tanzania's average age at 17, our youth are the future's MVPs. E-Shuleni equips students in primary schools, secondary schools, and colleges with must-have life skills and knowledge, all in Swahili for maximum impact.
